Question 1

What is Algoanalytica?

Accepted Answer

Algoanalytica is the parent company behind Brahmastra. We bring data, AI and craft to Indian politics — the Brahmastra intelligence platform, the Brahmastra Survey app, and on-ground services such as surveys, speech writing, consultancy and campaign design.

Question 2

What is Brahmastra?

Accepted Answer

Brahmastra is our political intelligence system for Indian elections. It brings booth-level Form 20 results, OCR'd electoral rolls, panchayat and municipal results, a campaign war-room map and voter outreach into one console, across nine modules.

Question 3

Where is Algoanalytica based?

Accepted Answer

Our head office is in New Delhi, India. We also have desks and field teams wherever elections are being fought — including Lucknow, Patna, Bhopal, Jaipur, Mumbai and Panaji.

Question 4

Which elections do you work on?

Accepted Answer

Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, and local-body elections — Gram, Kshetra and Zila Panchayat, and municipal councils. Brahmastra holds data for all of these levels.

Question 5

Do you work with only one political party?

Accepted Answer

We work with candidates, parties, elected representatives and campaign teams, as well as media houses, researchers, survey teams and students. Every client's data and plans are kept separate and confidential.

Question 6

Can you guarantee that we will win?

Accepted Answer

No. Elections are decided by voters. We provide analysis, tools and services with reasonable skill and care, but nobody can honestly promise a vote share, margin or result — and we don't.

Question 7

What does 'Rajneeti meets Science' mean?

Accepted Answer

It's our approach: political judgement backed by evidence. Every recommendation we make comes with the booth data, survey numbers or arithmetic behind it.

Question 8

Do you work outside India?

Accepted Answer

No. Our services are built for Indian elections and governance, and our Terms do not allow them to be used on behalf of a foreign source to influence an Indian election.

Question 9

Do you only help during elections?

Accepted Answer

No. The same data that helps win a seat helps run it — grievance desks, development planning by village and booth, scheme-reach audits and report cards on work done.

Question 10

How do I contact Algoanalytica?

Accepted Answer

Email admin@algoanalytica.com, or use the form on our Contact page. In election season the war-room is awake round the clock; the rest of the year we reply within a working day.

Question 11

How do I sign in to Brahmastra?

Accepted Answer

Use the Login button at the top of this site, or go to brahmastra.algoanalytica.co.in. Accounts are created for you when you start an engagement — there is no public sign-up.

Question 12

What are the nine modules?

Accepted Answer

Sahasraksha (booth and multi-election results), Matdarpan (electoral rolls), Mission Deck (campaign war-room map), Jan Sampark (news, speeches and outreach), Survey App, Polling (constituency maps), Gaon (panchayat results), Nagarpalika (municipal results) and Sanjaal (PRI members, influencers and stakeholders).

Question 13

Do I have to pick my seat in every module?

Accepted Answer

No. Pick a seat once — every module reads the same booths, rolls and results for it.

Question 14

What will I see for my seat?

Accepted Answer

Per-booth Form 20 results across Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, the voter roll part by part, panchayat and municipal results, village and booth maps, and your own survey and network data — everything you have been granted.

Question 15

Can I see seats other than mine?

Accepted Answer

Only those you are granted. Brahmastra access is scoped by state, seat and, where needed, polling part. Nothing outside your grant leaves the server.

Question 16

Does Brahmastra work in Hindi?

Accepted Answer

Rolls and results are read in both Devanagari and Latin script, and names, villages and booths can be searched in Hindi or English.

Question 17

Can several people on my team use one account?

Accepted Answer

No — each user needs their own login, and accounts must not be shared. Tell us who needs access and we'll set up separate accounts with the right seats.

Question 18

What is Mission Deck?

Accepted Answer

A full-screen map of your constituency with every booth coloured by zone and every Gram Panchayat drawn underneath. The campaign is split into four phases with decision cards; tap a card and the map flies to the booths and villages it names.

Question 19

What is Sahasraksha used for?

Accepted Answer

Reading a seat at two depths: Booth View, with per-booth Form 20 votes, winners, margins and turnout, and Deep View, which compares the seat across every Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha election.

Question 20

What is Matdarpan?

Accepted Answer

The voter mirror — electoral rolls read part by part from Hindi and English PDFs, with serial and page numbers, sections, added / deleted / modified status, and age and gender analysis down to a single polling part.

Question 21

Can I download data from Brahmastra?

Accepted Answer

What you can export depends on your engagement. Bulk copying, scraping, reselling or republishing platform data isn't allowed unless your work order permits it.

Question 22

Does it work on a phone?

Accepted Answer

Brahmastra runs in the browser. For fieldwork on a phone, use the Brahmastra Survey app.

Question 23

Can I get a demo before signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tell us the state and seat on the Contact page — we'll load its booths, rolls and results and walk you through it.

Question 24

What happens to my account when the engagement ends?

Accepted Answer

Access ends as your work order provides. Your campaign data is returned or deleted within 30 days of your written request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Question 25

What is Brahmastra AI?

Accepted Answer

An assistant inside Brahmastra that works on the data you are entitled to see. It drafts speeches and notes, summarises seats, groups open survey answers into issues and answers questions in plain Hindi or English.

Question 26

Can it write speeches?

Accepted Answer

It drafts speeches, press notes and rebuttals grounded in the seat's own booth results, local issues and the day's news. Writers — yours or ours — then shape each draft into the leader's own voice.

Question 27

Is AI output always correct?

Accepted Answer

No. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so every output is a draft for human review. You remain responsible for anything you publish or send.

Question 28

Will my data be used to train AI for other clients?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not use your campaign data to train AI models offered to other clients.

Question 29

Do I need to label AI-generated content?

Accepted Answer

Yes, wherever ECI advisories, the IT Rules, 2021 or platform rules require it. Brahmastra AI is never to be used to impersonate anyone.

Question 30

Can you make AI voice calls in a leader's voice?

Accepted Answer

Only with that leader's written consent to the use of their voice, and only to people who may lawfully be called. We do not create deepfakes of anyone.

Question 31

Can I ask it questions in Hindi?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ask in Hindi or English, about the seats you have access to.

Question 32

Can it model a swing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It can run scenarios on booth data — for example what a two-point swing in a set of booths does to the seat — so a recommendation comes with its arithmetic.

Question 33

Can it read survey answers?

Accepted Answer

It groups open-ended survey answers into issues, with counts by booth, so a team can read hundreds of answers the day fieldwork ends.

Question 34

Does Brahmastra AI see seats I'm not granted?

Accepted Answer

No. It works only on the data your account is entitled to see.

Question 35

Where can I download the Brahmastra Survey app?

Accepted Answer

On Google Play — search for Brahmastra Survey, or use the Google Play button on our Survey App page.

Question 36

Who can sign in to the app?

Accepted Answer

Field agents and admins whose accounts have been created by their organisation. The app has separate Field Agent and Admin portals, each with its own sign-in.

Question 37

Does the app work without internet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Survey answers, notes, photos, videos, voice notes, documents, boundaries and whole field shifts are saved on the phone and sync on their own when the network returns. E-Roll and Sanjaal need a connection.

Question 38

Will offline data be lost if the app closes?

Accepted Answer

No. Offline captures are kept in durable storage on the phone, not a cache, and keep their original capture time when they sync. A retried upload never creates a duplicate.

Question 39

What question types can a survey have?

Accepted Answer

Short text, paragraph, single choice, multiple choice and number. Questions can branch to any depth, be marked required, and be grouped into topic sections.

Question 40

How do I know the surveyor was really there?

Accepted Answer

Each response can carry a high-accuracy GPS fix with its accuracy, the time, and the agent who collected it. The form unlocks only after the agent starts a field shift, and supervisors can replay the route of any shift.

Question 41

Can agents capture photos, video and voice?

Accepted Answer

Yes — camera photos, videos up to 60 seconds, in-app voice notes and documents, each saved with where and when it was captured and grouped into field reports.

Question 42

Can supervisors track the team?

Accepted Answer

Admins see every agent's live position (refreshed every 15 seconds), a calendar of who worked each day, distance walked, villages covered and counts of surveys, reports and media — and can replay any shift's route.

Question 43

What does the field map show?

Accepted Answer

The seat boundary, villages and polling stations, the agent's position and walked trail, the distance to the nearest booth, and other agents on the same survey live. Agents can also correct a booth's location on the spot.

Question 44

Can agents mark boundaries on the ground?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Walk an area's edge with GPS or tap it on the map, and the app measures perimeter and area live. Types include boundary, covered area, restricted, landmark and other.

Question 45

Will the app drain my phone's battery or data?

Accepted Answer

Location tracking is tuned to save battery, photos are compressed, videos are capped at 60 seconds, and offline maps are opt-in with the size shown first — about 20 MB a seat.

Question 46

Can two agents share one phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Data queued offline stays tied to the agent who collected it, so it syncs under the right person.

Question 47

Do respondents have to give their name or phone number?

Accepted Answer

No. Surveyors must read out the consent statement, interview only adults who agree, and capture a name, phone number or photo only with the respondent's consent.

Question 48

Is the app available on iPhone?

Accepted Answer

The app is currently published on Google Play for Android. Contact us if your team needs iPhones.

Question 49

Where does Brahmastra's data come from?

Accepted Answer

Data published under law: electoral rolls, Form 20 booth results, and panchayat and municipal results from the Election Commission of India, Chief Electoral Officers and State Election Commissions — plus the survey and network data your own team collects.

Question 50

How many seats and states are covered?

Accepted Answer

Brahmastra covers 4,123 Vidhan Sabha seats across India, with live data for 25 states. Coverage keeps growing.

Question 51

How many voter records do you hold?

Accepted Answer

Between 50 and 60 crore voter records, and seeding continues.

Question 52

Do you cover panchayats and municipalities?

Accepted Answer

Yes — about 2.7 lakh local bodies, rural panchayats and urban municipal bodies, with Pradhan, BDC, Zila Panchayat and ward-level results where published.

Question 53

What is Form 20?

Accepted Answer

The official booth-wise result of an election, published after counting. It shows how many votes each candidate got at every polling station — the finest level at which results are public.

Question 54

How accurate is the electoral-roll data?

Accepted Answer

We read roll PDFs into searchable records voter by voter, and that processing can contain errors. The official published roll always prevails.

Question 55

How often is the data updated?

Accepted Answer

As authorities publish new results and roll revisions, we load them. Ask us about the specific seats and dates you need.

Question 56

Can I add my own data to Brahmastra?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Survey responses, influencers your team adds, notes and field reports all sit alongside the public data for your seat — and they belong to you.

Question 57

Do you sell voter data?

Accepted Answer

No. We never sell personal data, and our Terms forbid using public election data to harass people, profile them beyond lawful electoral purposes, or deny anyone the right to vote.

Question 58

Do you have maps down to the village level?

Accepted Answer

Yes — state, Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, district and village boundaries, with polling stations plotted.

Question 59

What services do you offer besides software?

Accepted Answer

On-ground surveys, speech writing, consultancy, guidance for candidates and teams, campaign designing, profile designing and governance designing — all run on Brahmastra data and Brahmastra AI.

Question 60

Who are your surveyors?

Accepted Answer

Trained local field teams who speak the area's language. They survey door to door and booth by booth on the Brahmastra Survey app, with supervisor spot-checks and GPS route audits.

Question 61

Can you run a survey in our seat?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We design the sample from the electoral roll — by booth, age and gender — run the fieldwork, and deliver a weekly tracker of issues, candidate image and vote intent.

Question 62

Do your writers travel with the campaign?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our speech writers travel with the campaign, gather local references at every stop, and turn around rebuttals and press statements the same day.

Question 63

What does your consultancy cover?

Accepted Answer

Seat assessments with local workers, candidate and alliance arithmetic, issue research and focus groups, and war-room setup with daily reviews — every recommendation with its numbers.

Question 64

What is campaign designing?

Accepted Answer

End-to-end campaign design: positioning, creatives, hoardings and wall paintings, reels, door-to-door kits, rally and yatra design, and a day-by-day plan until counting day.

Every question, answered.
